Day 11
Rifugio Dal Piaz - Croce d’Aune - Pedavena Feltre

The mixture of tiredness, after 11 days with 20kgs in the back, with the happiness of having made this nice trekking tour, with the sadness of finishing something we love to do invaded us on the morning of the last day.
We start by going down to Croce d'Aune, a place that is easily reached with a 1h30m walk from the refuge and where normally everyone ends the adventure Alta Via 2, later we realized why ...
In Croce d'Aune we saw path signs for Pedavena-Feltre, of course we'd love to walk straight to the car that was in Feltre.
Going down into the woods, suddenly the trail simply disappears like the marks, we went about 20 minutes looking for the trail at a time when the temperature was around 30 degrees ...
Finally we found the trail that ends on the tarred road, which we follow to Pedavena Feltre.
Arriving in Pedavena it was a good 35 degrees, enough walking, we asked for a ride and the first car stopped and took us to Feltre.
We got in the car and went looking for a restaurant in the historic center, we found a rustic restaurant where we ate very well.
With a full belly we went to the tourist office to write in the guest book and received the Alta Via 2 Pin.
In the afternoon we went to Cortina d'Ampezzo to spend the last 2 days of the holidays, the road is beautiful and we took the chance to go to the Rifugio Miralago, the only place where we knew there were official Alta Via 2 t-shirts.
On the road it is possible to get a sense of the last year's storm damage, slopes from top to bottom with the forest completely destroyed, impressive.
 already 25 degrees at 9 a.m.

Day 10
Rifugio Boz - Passo di Finestra - Rifugio dal Piaz

Last day with exposed sections, always equipped.
From Rifugio Boz we continue towards Passo Finestra, the trail bends to the right, where serious things begin, the trail is very beautiful, after several equipped passes, with the emptiness on the left side, we climbed a little closer to the edge of Zoccare Alto then comes an imposing part with the emptiness on both sides that precedes a very interesting rock-carved stairs.
The trail runs along the ridge until it goes back down and around the slope as it moves away from the edge, around Sasso Scarnia to the east and Mount Ramezza to the south.
We proceeded at about the same altitude until we pass the plateau where we go up a little to Passo Delle Vetti Grandi, at this col the Rifugio Dal Piaz is very close.
At the end of this stage it is clearly visible that we left the mountain behind, it was done, it only remains the descent to Pedavena-Feltre to finish the 180km of this beautiful adventure.
At dinner we celebrated with 1 Italian, 1 German couple who were also finishing the Alta Via 2.
