What an outstanding weekend with two beautiful hikes, saturday i took the car to the parking Gros Mont, after passing Charmey.
I start hiking south, at the first crossroad i turned right to W, followed the road until a chalet at 1700m, at this point the path becomes a single trail and head towards the south ridge of Dent de Brenleire, in some places is very steep, a quite impressive ridge, there is always a footpath until the summit, at about 2300m the view to Dent de Folliéran is amazing.
About 11a.m, after a two hours hike i reached the summit, what an awesome day with colossal views.
few minutes later a slovenian guy joined me at the summit, we discussed for half hour while contemplating the beautiful scenario.
After one hour at the summit i started the return with my dog by the same path until the point 1541m, where we continued straight north heading directly to the parking.
