video of the day

This Sunday i went hiking to the Bern district, i choose a summit with around 2000m because there is already a layer of fresh snow with 30/40 cms.
I start the hike at Boltigen(810m), at the train station parking, follow the signposts Niderhore, cross the main river and start to gain altitude in a nice forest, i passed Eggefang and follow the route until Langgrue(1500m), then the path goes through a nice path in the forest until Bodeli(1670m), after that the path goes by the middle of the valley between the ridge of Niderhore and Eselsgrind, i continue south towards a small col where there was about 50cm of fresh snow, with Xarah, my awesome dog we had a lot a fun, even if i need to make the path.
Once at this small col(1930m) the view was beatiful, i change direction and head to NE, in 20minutes we were at the summit of Niderhore(2078m), beatiful landscape up there. After this first "summit" i continue to north, pass another "summit", Blutte Hubel(2060m) and continue north by the ridge for a few kilometres until Hundere Zugbode(1650m), what a nice hike on this large ridge.
From this point i change direction to SW until Zitbode(1615m) and then direction N until crossing the river at 1400m, from there i follow the road heading W to join the ascend path at Eggefang, i went down to Boltigen by the same path finishing this beautiful tour with 5h30m of hike, what a tremendous day!
