Day 2
Juac - Forcela dla Roa - Forcela Nives - Rifugio Puez - Forcela of Ciampei - Forcela of Crespeina - Forcela Cier - Paso Gardena
After a rainy night the day woke up very cloudy, outside the tent was all wet, shortly after sunrise began to form dense fog and threatening rain, considering that we would pass a via ferrata within a few hours we had some fears.
From the edge of Juac, in the middle of the Puez-Odle nature park, we head west, pass the Forcella de Furcia and continue south, an hour and shortly after we pass the Forcella dla Roa (2617m), fortunately the weather was dry in this Col there are 2 options, we opted for the more direct version and where the via ferrata passes, which in the distance puts respect but turns out to be easy and fun.
After this part we went down east towards Rifugio Puez, where we ate bacon, eggs and bread, to change a little of the lyophilized food, that was about 13h, so we still had time to walk a few more hours, although we started walking at 7 am we were motivated.
We passed Forcella de Ciampei, Forcella de Crespeina and Forcella Cier with stunning views of the Sella massif, half an hour later we reached the cable car area and where it started to rained hard.
We took refuge in the Hôtel do Passo Gardena, waited more than an hour but the rain never stopped, I asked how much it cost a night for 2 in a private room, for 110 € with breakfast we stayed there, camping this day would not have been a good option ..
The day after we were ready for a long hike .
