Fantastic Sunday, i went until Grimentz at the Val d’Anniviers, i left the car in the big parking of the lifts and i followed the road that goes up to the Moiry lake, normally it’s a dangerous road due to avalanche risk but in this sunday the snow was very stable with a degree 1 of 5, once i arrived near the dam i went up by the right side, West, i continue south for a little and then i turned West to join alpage de torrent(2479m), i passed this point and before heading to Basset de Levron i climbed directly the South face of the Diablon, once at the ridge i easily joined the summit, i stayed at the point 3041m for about one hour, an awesome day, 0 wind, and beatiful cenario around me.
Then it was time for the best part, the descent, the snow was not amazing but was far from horrible, anyway i had a lot of fun ! I went down by the south face and joined the east face of la Madeleine where i found some untouched fresh snow, Fantastic!!
After that i joined the way up route which i followed until the starting point, what an amazing 20km ski tour!
